PRESENTATION:

In the world of Information Society and Communications, where private international relationships have multiplied exponentially in recent years, it has become indispensable for managers, professionals, and those interested in the protection of Intellectual Property to keep up to date on the latest developments. To that end, the various patent protection systems, the impact of the digital revolution on Intellectual Property protection, the diverse criteria of the Spanish courts and the courts of other countries will be analysed by a group of experts who will explain the current situation and future prospects in this area. The conference will also welcome back and celebrate the return of D. Manuel Real Desantes, Professor of Private International Law and Ex-Vice President of the European Patent Office, to the University of Alicante. The sessions will be participative and practice oriented.
