  • Doctorate in Law cum laude (1996), extraordinary doctoral prize from the University of Alicante, Spain (1997).
  • Chair-person of the UNESCO for Education on Copyright and Related Rights.

 

Professional Experience:

  • Professor of Private International Law at the University of Alicante (2001).
  • Area coordinator of Private International Law (1995-2005).
  • Coordinator of Module Information Society Studies of the Magister Lvcentinvs.
  • Visiting scholar at the University of California, Davis (July 1999 to January 2000).
  • Author of several publications on Private International Law and IP.
  • Principal researcher in the research Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Spain: “Law and New Information and Communication Technologies” (Project BJU2001-00805) (2001-2005)
  • Professor in various Masters degree programs in International Trade and Intellectual Property and Information Society.
  • Academic Manager of UAIPIT project.
