HOW TO PUBLISH IN UAIPIT.COM

The Publications section of Uaipit.com is a forum for communication where professionals, students, and experts in information technology law, communication technology law, and intellectual property law can display the results of their research and exchange their knowledge and proposals.

The articles, research projects or commentaries that are sent for publication en Uaipit.com must be sent in MS Word or similar format. Given that this is a digital publication, there is no limit on the number of pages that can be sent.

The publications will be in Spanish and/or in English. It is recommended that an abstract be provided, in Spanish and in English.

By sending books, articles, or any other doctrinal works for publication, the sender accepts without reservation the SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR PUBLICATION IN UAIPIT.COM.

The articles, research works or commentaries for which publication is sought must be sent to Lydia.esteve@ua.es with the indication “Publication Uaipit matter” and in the text of the message:

1. Acceptance of the Specific Conditions for Publication in Uaipit.com
2. Title of the Article or work
3. First Name, last name and DNI/NIF number
4. Organization and function within the organization
5. Date and place of completion of article or work
6. University of origin (if applicable)
7. Contact address (physical), telephone and/or fax
8. E-mail
9. Brief summary of resume (maximum 5 lines)
10. Web page (if applicable)

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR PUBLISHING IN UAIPIT.COM

1. The ownership of the copyright for books, articles, commentaries or research works belongs to their authors. However, the act of sending or providing these works for publication in Uaipit.com constitutes the granting of non-exclusive reproduction and public communication rights. The grant of free, unlimited, worldwide rights shall enter into effect when the author sends his/her work to Uaipit.com with the statement that he/she accepts these conditions.



2. The works that are published in Uaipit.com may be reformatted as Uaipit.com documents, with the format and logo of the Portal.


3. The publication by Uaipit.com of books, articles, commentaries or research works in this Portal is for non-profit purposes.



4. All persons who request the publication of books, articles, commentaries or research works shall be responsible for observing all applicable copyright laws with respect to the published works and their content, and for the accuracy of the data provided. Such data shall be handled in accordance with the policy regarding the protection of personal data.



5. Uaipit.com cannot guarantee the authorship or integrity of the books, articles, commentaries, or research works published on this web page, nor shall it be responsible for possible copyright violations with respect to the legitimate owners of published works. However, as soon as Uaipit.com becomes aware of any such violations or suspects that such have taken place, Uaipit.com shall take all reasonable steps, in its discretion, to repair or minimize the damages.



6. Uaipit.com informs all legitimate copyright owners that, with respect to published works on Uaipit.com, users will have the right to see, print, copy, or store on their hard drive or other medium the protected intellectual works, as long as such activities are carried out for personal and private reasons of the user, with no commercial or distribution purposes, and without modifying, altering, or decompiling said contents. This right of personal use shall be respected provided that all copyright advisories are respected and the works are cited by their source and electronic address.
