Members of the African Intellectual Property Organisation and Delegates at the OHIM IP Seminar 2012 visited the University of Alicante

Last October 15th, 2012, the University of Alicante, along with the Officefor Harmonisation in the Internal Market, Trademarks and Designs (OHIM) and the Alicante Town Hall, hosted a reception to Mr. Paulin EDOU EDOU, Director of the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI), and the delegates attending the OHIM IP Seminar 2012. The event brought together professionals and scholars of intellectual property from more than twenty countries in Europe, Africa, America and Asia.

The event, which was attended by several representatives of the Alicante Town Hall, OHIM, and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), served as a framework for the signing of a cooperation agreement between the institutions involved.
