On November 20 to 21, 2014, the District Chamber of Legal Advocates of Alicante (ICALI), along with the Intellectual Property Section and in collaboration with the Alicante Solicitors Association (ICOPAL), the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM), and the General Council of the Spanish judicial authority will celebrate the 9th Sessions of the Community Trade mark Court.
This session will address issues related to designs and community trade marks, as well as novelties in the decisions of the Community trade Mark Court. This first session will cover, amongst other issues, the protection of the parts of a complex product, invalidity based on bad faith in the Court of Justice of the European Union, and a round table on three-dimensional shapes. The second session will start off with a round table on the protection of trade marks with a low level of distinctiveness, and will continue with lectures on adwords that are trade marks, design, marks and technical functions.
These sessions will take place in the Salón de Actos Juzgados de Benalúa, Alicante.
