The program of the Workshop, organized by GEVES in cooperation with the UPOV includes a presentation of GAIA software, a tool to compare variety descriptions using combinations of differences on a set of characteristics. GAIA is currently used in France to conduct DUS testing on Maize, Oilseed Rape and some other crops. The Workshop will held on March 7-9, 2007 in La Minière, France.
