The objective of this meeting is to discuss with the collaboration of experts in the field, about the strategies used by developed countries to raise the minimum standards of protection of intellectual property rights established in the TRIPS Agreement (in particular trademark law) and to ensure its effective implementation. It will be a space for debate and reflection, particularly on the challenges that may mean to increase the level of protection for the economies of the countries of Latin America.
