This seminar, organized by the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property, offers an interesting academic agenda, which includes various highly topical issues related to Intellectual Property, such as: pharmaceutical brands, maximizing the life of patents vs. antitrust regulation and social effects, intellectual property challenges on social networks, specific characteristics of mechanical and electrical inventions, and policies to promote technology transfer in less-developed countries. The event will be held on March 16-20, 2013, in La Habana, Cuba.
