On the occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day, under the topic proposed by WIPO "Creativity: the next generation", the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office will celebrate the following activities:
Session on “How to Protect my ingenuity”. It will take place in the Secondary School Ramiro de Maeztu in Madrid.
Session on “Introduction to Intellectual Property” in the National University of Distance Learning (UNED) in Madrid.
“The capabilities and strengths of Spanish companies: cases of successfully patented technological developments” will be discussed in the session with the Spanish Technological Platforms, which will take place in the SPTO headquarters in Madrid.
The lecture “Intellectual Property support for the SMEs” will be given within the frame of the CEVIPYME IP advisory programme for companies, with the participation of the SPTO. The session will take place in the Metal Technology Centre of the region of Castilla-La Mancha ITECAM, in Tomelloso, Ciudad Real.
The importance of Industrial Property will be highlighted in the session celebrated by the “Spanish Association of Inventors for the Studies of Innovation and the Scientific and Technological Investigation” in the SPTO headquartes in Madrid.
The awareness campaign "Trade mark your future 2013” will be developed through the SPTO website, to underscore the importante of trade marks in the Spanish society and economy, and the consumers loyalty towards brands.
