The battle between Apple and Samsung ends

03.09.2014

Since 2011, year in which Apple sued Samsung for copying its product designs; Apple and Samsung have had a constant “patent battle” on tablets and mobile phones.

Currently, they have decided end the dispute with a truce. The American, Apple, and South Korean, Samsung, brands have reached an agreement but this has brought an end to these open cases outside the United States of America since the cases based on violations of intellectual property and licenses are not included. Therefore the case in which Apple sued Samsung in 2011 for the copy of its designs and Samsung replied, sued Apple for violation of the patent of 3G technology, remains.

They reached, allegedly, this agreement due to the entry of Chinese competitors which have provoked a loss of global market share and the expensive proceedings which provide very few benefits to both international companies.

There are people those who believe that this agreement will produce the end of the numerous disputes between the recognised brands. We will pay attention to see how this legal battle ends.
