The purpose of this seminar will be to describe recent developments in this field in both jurisprudence and legislation, and to discuss the future perspectives of European IP Law in the areas of: Community Trade Marks and Geographical Indications, enforcement of IP rights, IP Law and Competition Rules, Copyright and its adaptation to the Information Society and Database Protection. Besides, a round table on the Future Patent System in Europe will be organised. The Conference will be held on December 4-5, 2006 in Traer, Germany
