Alberto Casado Cerviño appointed Vice-President of the EPO

Alberto Casado Cerviño, UAIPIT Member of Honour, has been appointed Vice-President of the European Patent Office succeeding Peter Vermeij. He will be the successor of Peter Vermeij of the Netherlands. Alberto Casado Cerviño has extensive experience in IP, as he has been Director General of the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office, Vice-President of the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), and member of the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation.
