SPTO’s website creates a new section for SMEs and entrepreneurs

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO) will facilitate clear and simple information about Intellectual Property to SMEs and entrepreneurs through its new website section. The creation of this new division was motivated by the SPTO’s commitment to supporting business and entrepreneurs.

With this section SMEs will be able to find answer to their FAQ, following the next classification:

1. Basics concepts about different modalities of protection: patent, utility models, trademarks and industrial designs.

2. Important advices before exporting.

3. Ways of capitalize Intellectual Property titles.

4. SPTO’s services for SMEs and entrepreneurs

5. Furthermore, the new section offers information about grants and public funding for SMEs and news, events, publications and training in IP for business.
