FICPI’s Open Forum will include specialised sessions on patents, trade marks and IP practice management, offering something for all intellectual property professionals. The Forum will begin with a plenary session that will examine the benefits of using Mediation to settle IP disputes, including a mock mediation. Special topics to be covered will include online platforms and why clients still need their IP attorney and how to deal with the manufacture of infringing products by modern 3D printing techniques. This event will take place in Venice, Italy, from 25 - 28 October 2017.
