The aim of the Congress will be to learn about how the Intellectual Property can contribute to the economic development. It will look as well at how balancing privacy law and public policy with IP laws, fair protection of inventions and trademarks, what are the activities of national or supra-national offices and finally, the interests of all participants in the patent system. The Congress will be held on May 22-26, 2006 in Paris, France.
