This course consists of seven modules on patents and utility models related matters such as : the patent system (protection policy, patentability and infringement), drafting reports and claims, data bases and technological information services of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, the EPO and other offices, general introduction to IP, patents and know-how transfer, negotiating and drafting transfer and license contracts, forbiden acts and legal actions on patent related matters. The course will be held on 10-14 and 17-21 November 2008, in Madrid, Spain.
