The emphasis of this conference will be on key questions relating to the enlargement of the European Union, the adherence of the EU to the Madrid Protocol, absolute grounds for refusal and the protection of the well-known trademark. The event will be held in Alicante (OHIM), Spain, on April 28 – 29, 2005.
