This workshop will offer a high-level overview of IP strategy designed for executives from small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). The event is co-organised by KIPI, the USPTO, WIPO, the non-profit PIPRA. Experts will give the audience a practical, nuts-and-bolts overview of how SMEs can best identify, protect, and monetize their intangible assets. The workshop will focus on patents and trade marks and their use in East Africa. The course will be held on 23 May 2011, in Nairobi, Kenya.
