This III Congress will focus on the fight against piracy and counterfeiting, providing an extraordinary forum for reflection about education and research on IP in which the EPO, OHIM and WIPO Academies will take part. Furthermore, this year UAIPIT presents a workshop on International IP Dispute Resolution through mediation that will be take place prior to the Congress. The successful completion of the scheduled activities will allow students to obtain 1 credit CECLEC. During the Closing Ceremony UAIPIT will award its distinction to Mr. Paul Maier, President of the OHIM Boards of Appeal in recognition of his contribution to the protection of Intellectual Property and the UAIPIT Project. The Congress will be held on 24-25 November, 2011, at the University of Alicante, Spain.
