After an introduction about the domain names system and the evolution of the Internet use, this workshop will deal with trade mark infringement on the Internet (cybersquatting, typosquatting, namesquatting, counterfeiting, phishing, pharming, etc.), use of trade marks by legitimate third parties, and defence and protection of trade mark rights on the internet. The event will be held on February 9, 2012, in Paris, France.
