The Office of Harmonization for Internal Market (OHMI) organizes First Intellectual Property Mediation Conference. The conference will be focused on the growth of mediation in the area of Intellectual Property and the EU Mediation Directive which has been implemented into national law of many member states. The event will bring together mediators and experts on Mediation, among others, Richard Mc Bride, Mediator and Attorney, Ignacio de Castro, Deputy Director of WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, and Dr. jur. Th. M. Margellos, MCIArb, CEDR, President of the Boards of Appeal and Coordinator of OHIM´s Mediation Service. The conference will hold on May, 29th -30th 2014, in Alicante, Spain.
